Pros
Most of the managers respect your personal hours and allow time for family commitments. If you communicate with the leads, they are usually understanding and prevent excessive overtime. The payment offered to remote developers from LATAM is competitive and satisfactory.
Cons
The behavior of my particular lead was very disappointing considering their position. Whenever I provided suggestions, feedback, or tried to contribute to improvements, they consistently dismissed my ideas without proper consideration or listening. When I was unexpectedly removed from the project, my lead completely ignored me for an entire week. They didn't respond to my attempts to contact them, even during scheduled meetings. Despite previously receiving positive feedback and a good performance review, I was removed from the project without any explanation or feedback.
