Pros

International company, you can meet people from different countries and cultures and work together. That's fun and exciting.

Cons

You can shine on a project, get praise and respect. But will not affect you Epam grade and salary. Your project role/contribution and Epam role/salary are decoupled. In order to grow in Epam, you don't have to do your job perfectly, you'd better have to gather certifications, pass assessments, do some non-project activities and other self-promotion stuff.

Pros

Interesting projects, high tech standards and internal knowledge sharing, and a rich representation of all possible Slavic accents.

Cons

Engineering-first culture results in obnoxiously fragmented internal tech platforms because errybody wants to build it themselves. Not a big deal, just engineers doing what engineers will do.
