-smart, committed, friendly people -interesting work -small enough for your voice to be "heard"

-bureaucracies related to the parent organization -groups are somewhat in "silos," so cooperation is less fruitful than it could be

Interesting business, some of staff are very talented, small enough to feel like a family, but reap rewards of parent company's size for benefits, recent release of new platform overcomes legacy issues with previous platform.

– Some staff do not pull their weight and there are no repercussions, lack of transparent compensation plans, especially surrounding bonuses. As a result, no motivation to excel other than personal pride and integrity, causing "star" players to become frustrated and "B" team to skate by. Previous President (Bill Keogh) highly respected, effective and well liked. Change in management was a mistake. Parent company does not understand business and stifles EQECAT's success.
