Pros
- Largest esports company, well known for its brand - Fully Remote - Bi-weekly company day for employees to gather and meet each other
Cons
- Global finance team has been making changes to their processes which inconvenience all employees and added workload to some due to the limitations of the company systems - Efficiency and hard-work are not rewarded accordingly, you only get verbal praises that’s all. - Not everyone is entitled to bonus, salary increment is totally by luck. You need to see if you qualify based on the requirements set by them before they review your salary, the requirements changes every year. The salary review is usually carried out in discrete, managers do not know if you are entitled to increment and have no say about it. - Company planning needs improvement. Seems like every department wants changes, but the changes are implemented all at one go, the downstream are suffering from implementing these changes everywhere. - HR lacks proper planning too. When they want to carry out certain exercises, they only send information on or after effective date to the people who are executing the exercise. Imagine given a task today but deadline was yesterday or past long ago? This causes consistent stress to the executor as it happens often. - Culture wise might differ from regions to regions. Some regions receive better support in general and some are neglected. You can tell the employee satisfaction level of each region by reviewing which countries give better reviews here. - Work life balance can be quite bad here, as most functions are globalised now, meetings and calls happening during non-working hours becomes a norm. You sometime have to work during non-working hours to accommodate to the timezone of the other party. - Some leaders generally have bad leadership, they want to gain more control by manipulating employees of lower ranks from other departments. Basically toxic and political.
