Pros

Competitive salary and decent benefits depending on the role. A handful of good people in the business if you happen to work with them.

Cons

Toxic environment, leadership and management. Completely aimless and confused leadership masked as being “agile” and able to pivot in the market. Any ideas you have will be shut down - collaboration is encouraged as long you think exactly the same as your manager/exco. “Leaders” rule with fear. High staff turnover is the order of things and understandably so. Don’t be fooled by any positive reviews, you are harangued by HR to leave a review on Glassdoor after joining.

Thank you for your honest feedback. We're sorry that your experience has fallen short of what we would hope for. Specifically in our Operations department we have a strong management team who is leading with care and understanding of their team needs and challenges. Recently we have introduced targeted Coaching which is supporting managers with their leadership style and we have seen great improvements since then. We will continue to find ways to develop our people and ensure strong leadership is in place. If you would like to discuss this further, please do reach out to HR@espug.com, Many thanks.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We appreciate your honesty and the time taken to highlight these concerns. We recognise that creating a positive and supportive working environment is essential for both employee wellbeing and organisational success. As such, we deliver regular training and coaching for managers and leaders to strengthen their management style. Additionally, we implemented wellbeing initiatives such as stress management sessions, employee assistance programmes, and quiet spaces for reflection to support employees psychological safety. We will continue to review our strategies and practices to ensure it continues to reflect a modern, inclusive culture. Thank you again for your input. Best regards, HR team (hr@espug.com)
