Cons
Micromanaged by manager(s) that have no comprehension or knowledge of the workings of a transport dock. Even worse was the bureaucracy and bully tactics used to intimidate and demean people. Not really surprising since I had conversations with management that made it glaringly obvious that there was no respect or empathy towards the people who worked there. This was easily the most unhealthy and unhappy work environment I’ve ever been a part of. Now that my tenure there is finished I feel relieved and in all honesty, glad that chapter of my career is over. Only wish I could be there to witness the mass exodus of staff in the next week or so who have all found other employment and will be quitting (to the utter ignorance of said management).
