Pros
I met a lot of really great people in the years that I worked there and had a lot of great learning opportunities
Cons
Assisted living functions largely on a team basis and things get difficult when pertinent information about your residents aren’t shared with you. This makes things really difficult to give the care that residents need. Not only that but a lot of the admits that were taken were outside of the criteria for assisted living. This made it extremely difficult to spread time between all of the residents. And the cherry on top, it is very rare to get help when you need it especially from supervisors. Many people have asked and only on occasion will they get it.
Pay rates weren’t terrible for the place however it is just morally incorrect that new hires get paid more than people that have been there for years.
In short: For a company that prides itself for its nomination of “Best of La Crosse”, the function is poor and management seemingly doesn’t care about their staff or clients.
