Pros

Great loving, supportive community growing opportunity for career in counseling as well as spiritual life housing provided use of all facilities on property including chapel, pavillion, pool, and gym individual counseling provided for you

Cons

Must learn to set boundaries with self and co-workers to have time off. If you talk about work before/after work, you'll feel like you're working all the time. (This could be a pro too since it teaches you how to set boundaries.) Also, because assistant counselors are provided housing and required to live on-ranch, they must remain unmarried until their contract is up.

Pros

What a caring community of people who love the Lord and love children. I can not say enough good things about the hearts and giftedness of my peers.

Cons

It's a heavy work! Kids and families are hurting. To step into their pain takes supernatural help, wisdom and energy.

Stellar community. Supportive, team and family environment.

Cons

Benefit packages and salaries, although commensurate with the size of the organization and industry, could be improved upon.
