Pros

Collaborative environment and good team culture - You get to touch a lot of different kinds of work, and teams genuinely want to partner. Product wants to work closely with Brand and Marketing, and even though we all have clear roles, people actively pull each other in for input. That’s felt really refreshing compared to more siloed teams I’ve been on before. It moves fast here but the vibe isn’t “rush and hope,” it’s more “let’s do this well, test it, and learn.” Research and testing results are shared pretty broadly, which I love. There’s a lot of iteration, but it feels informed, not random. Leadership has been solid about sharing both wins and headwinds. I appreciate the transparency. We also have more frequent all-hands than I’ve had at other companies, which helps everyone stay connected to what’s actually happening. Joining in time for the annual offsite was a highlight too, especially as someone working with teammates across North America. It made the company feel smaller and more connected in a really good way.

Cons

I really don't have any cons to report - I'm a little over 90 days in and everything has been really wonderful. I feel well supported, the culture is great. We're doing smart, informed work.

Thank you for taking the time to share this review with us! We’re thrilled to hear that the collaboration across teams feels real and that our focus on thoughtful testing and learning is coming through. It’s also great to know that our transparency and LA offsite made an impact. We’ll keep leaning into open communication and finding ways to bring people together. Thanks for being part of it.

Pros

I have genuinely loved my experience at Earnest so far. One of the biggest positives is that everything I was told during the interview process has turned out to be true, which made starting here feel really reassuring. The company is also very open to feedback, and I have felt supported from the beginning. It is easy to get answers to questions, and people are willing to help, which has made onboarding and learning the role much smoother.

Cons

The only area I can really point to for improvement is training. I would have liked a little more outbound training early on. That said, I know this team is still fairly new and actively building and improving the process, so it feels more like a growing pain than a major issue.

Pros

I’ve been with Earnest for over a year, and it has truly been one of the best work experiences I’ve had. The culture is incredibly collaborative, with mutual respect at every level. Even though we are a fully remote team, the company does an amazing job fostering connection and keeping our team spirit strong-I feel like I genuinely know my colleagues. Earnest provides excellent training and resources, making it easy to feel confident and supported in the role. Leadership is approachable and always receptive to feedback, continuously working to improve both operations and the product. The progress I’ve seen in just a year has been impressive. What I appreciate most is that it feels like working alongside a team rather than within a rigid chain of command. Everyone’s contributions are valued, and there’s a real sense of shared purpose. On top of that, Earnest genuinely respects work-life balance, encouraging us to do great work while also having time for ourselves outside of it. That balance makes it not just a great place to work, but a sustainable and rewarding one.

Cons

Since we’re a smaller team, growth opportunities may take a bit longer to come up since roles don’t open as frequently. That said, I haven’t been here long enough to fully gauge the long-term possibilities.

Thank you for taking the time to share this and for everything you do on our Client Happiness team. We’re so glad the collaboration, training, and remote culture are making this one of your best work experiences. We appreciate the note on growth, too. As a lean team, roles may open less often, but we’re committed to creating meaningful development opportunities along the way. Thanks for being part of what makes Earnest special.
