The team here at Eastern Standard wanted to respond to these reviews so prospective team members have an accurate picture of life at the company.
We absolutely had our growing pains - it's true. And we learned a lot of lessons the hard way as we worked to scale our teams. During this period, (the reviewer is referencing events from early 2017), processes weren't streamlined and communication wasn't as consistent and open as it should have been. Those issues, along with other challenges, took a significant toll on some of our team members.
But these experiences are certainly not representative of the company we aspired to be, and leadership here took the issues seriously. We have worked to implement, enhance, and document our processes, establish open lines of communication, provide better structure and guidance, and institute a sane work/life balance. We'd be happy to discuss in detail the steps we've taken and where the company stands today.
