- flexible working hours - freedom of research topics - reasonable salary compared to postdoc positions in other countries - many young researchers
Cons
- Swiss bureaucracy. Difficult to change decisions from higher up - not very transparent hiring process - postdoc position (contract) of max 2 years - very few opportunities to continue into fixed contract (tenure track) - not extremely inspiring co-workers
