Pros

All the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming with plenty chances to meet and interact with the wider team. Hybrid working has been easy and left completely up to me to find a pattern that works. Everyone I meet has very impressive technical knowledge of their area of sustainability, it really feels like you’re at the forefront of sustainability consultancy working here.

Cons

In what I assume is down to quick expansion of the team and the complexity of working with a still relatively new parent company, not all processes are as streamlined as they could be and some senior staff seem overworked. However staff are encouraged to report any improvements to systems they think of and with the influx of new staff over the past six months hopefully this relieves pressure on senior staff in time.

Pros

Working at EcoAct has been very good in terms of my professional development within the industry. Immediately starting, you get really stuck in and get to take part in a lot of different types of projects. The London team are friendly and great to work with. Working environment is conducive for entry level work.

Cons

Salary is not in line with other consulting companies (lower than what is usually offered for London)

Pros

EcoAct is made up of talented and passionate people. It's a really envigorating environment to work in because people are always sharing knowledge and working on new things.

Cons

The new parent company purchased EcoAct because of its performance and success, then changed all the processes that led to that success. Work is so much more bureaucratic now with convoluted processes that aren't designed with a sustainability consultancy in mind and is much more about the bottom line than sustainability. The company culture has suffered as a result, become much more corporate.
