Pros

The Company had great potential for success. The work environment was casual, open within the engineering group. The location was interesting and convenient.

Cons

The Executive Management Team could not agree make responsible decisions concerning the interests of Ecotality shareholders, partners, and key stakeholders. The middle management were unable to understand the various business units Industrial, On road (EVSE), and Government Consulting (Projects Group). This is why the company failed.

Pros

What the company was trying to achieve was great, and both the products and projects groups had great people working in them.

Cons

The upper management was clueless. As one of the senior engineers, I never spoke with upper management despite being a few feet away every day. They just didn't understand how to make the company profitable, and focusing all their energies on the EVSE side proved to be our demise.

The idea of what the company stood for was outstanding. The people/customers believing in the company by committing to the products made working for the company worthwhile.

Disorganized with no clear communication between departments or field personal.
