Pros

If you are a person who has a deep domain knowledge, and you can work 24/7, then you are a hero for them.

Cons

Before I go in the details, let me tell you that Eddress is a Lebanon company at E-11. Managed by local management here, the top level management is there at Lebanon remotely managing the things. Haven't seen such a poor management in my whole career, the local management doesn't seem to take you serious, until you are valued by another company. You put your complaints/issues you are facing at Eddress in front of local management, but they don't put them in front of the Remote Top Level Management in Lebanon. I don't know what could be their reason to do so, but AFAIT either they are afraid of the Remote Top Level Management in Lebanon due to the professional behaviour of the CEO Specially, Or they want to show them that they have managed the things very well here in Pakistan. I have raised my concerns to the local management here many times, and I thought they might have discussed with the Remote management, but I came to know later on that they didn't ever do this. Later on, when I raised my concerns to the Remote management, I was asked why didn't I raised my concerns to the local management at Eddress Pakistan. WORK RELATED ISSUE: Though they follow JIRA, but thats just a label that they do work on. No User stories written for the developers to implement the features, just vague ideas and incomplete requirements, some times just in the mind of the CEO what to implement. POOR POOR way of assigning tasks.

Pros

The only Pro is they offering the remote job

Cons

My time at this company was characterized by promises of better pay and advancement opportunities that never materialized. Despite consistently delivering high quality work and exceeding expectations, I was held at a minimum wage salary for far too long. The company would dangle the promise of raises and promotions in front of me, but they never came to fruition. I felt like my skills and dedication were being taken advantage of, as I was not being compensated fairly for the work that I was producing. The lack of transparency and honesty from upper management was disheartening and ultimately led me to seek out better opportunities elsewhere. It became clear that the company was more interested in retaining talent at a low cost rather than rewarding and investing in their employees. Overall, I would caution anyone considering employment at this company to be wary of false promises and take any assurances of advancement with a grain of salt. It was a disappointing experience and one that I am glad to have moved on from.
