Pros

Edelman Financial Engines is truly a company that cares about people, whether it be their employees, clients or communities. Their culture is positive, humane and inclusive. There is room to grow and ingenuity is applauded and encouraged. If you are looking for a career in a company that pushes your limits and expectations with fair salaries, this may be the company for you.

Cons

Although Edelman Financial Engines strives to be transparent with their employees a lot of times they lack communication. Although we are considered a "fin-tech" company, our technical tools seem to be lacking for the industry.

Pros

- Great team from department head down - Collaboration is encouraged - Self-starter culture with good room for side projects - "See something, say something" approach allows questioning methodology without a feeling of personal attacks or "dumb questions" and enables team members to support each other in a safe environment - Work from home

Cons

- Executive leadership does not know what they want - Consistent turnover in C-Suite leads to departments acting like small internal companies rather than part of a larger system - Limited permission access for team members means that any absence or time-off can lead to a backlog of deployments
