Pros

Most colleagues are very kind, and there is a strong effort to promote relationship-building Many colleagues care deeply about social justice work Competitive salary Remote work Travel a few days per month Opportunities for growth

Cons

Unsustainable work environment, particularly for staff at the associate and associate consultant level. 60 hours per week or more is common, although you will be looked at suspiciously if you list these hours on your timesheet, even if this is actually how much time the work takes. Regularly working evenings and weekends to stay on top of work, resulting in high turnover. Typically working on three or more different project teams at a time. Even veteran colleagues in higher positions can be seen working on Sharepoint on weeknights until 3AM. New staff may be assigned to project teams that have a particularly challenging dynamic because veteran staff members have turned down the request already (knowing that the project team is difficult to work with).
