Pros
1. The People - You will not find another group of 50 like minded individuals with a crazy (and sometime border line inappropriate) sense of humor, charisma, and spunk like you would at Education. All my co-workers has become like a second (well, really 3rd, 4th) family to me after working here for the past 4 plus years. 2. The Environment - The new office in San Mateo is an open office environment and everyone can go up to people to chat, ask questions, and to think. Once in a while you get an all out nerf gun fight, but it is nicer to be able to see who is in the office in one glance instead of walking through a dark and narrow corridor to find engineering. 3. The Dogs - I became a dog person after working here. If you love dogs, you'll love it here as we rotate who brings in their dog on a daily basis. 4. The Mission - Go read the mission statement. This company strives to achieve the goal that they set in the statement and are they doing a darn good job of it.
Cons
1. Commute - I come from the South Bay, so commuting is a pain when access to CalTrain is a bit far. Driving every day to work can be rough and counterproductive to yourself. 2. Manpower - This is a very small company, less than 50 people in total. With that being said, a lot of employees are not just doing one job. You get pulled into / volunteered into helping different departments. It gets hard to juggle all the responsibilities when your deadline(s) are looming.
