Pros

Location, decent pay & bonus plan at the time - not due to owner, but because of manager.

Cons

I was the 9th person in 5 years in the position. I knew it was inevitable once I learned that. Sure enough after I was let go my replacement lasted 3 months, then the next guy lasted 6 weeks, and so on.

Pros

The standout positive aspect is having a Director of Operations who is highly competent and capable of handling a wide range of responsibilities. She genuinely cares about her team and demonstrates a strong commitment to their success.

Cons

I previously worked at Eevelle and unfortunately, my experience was far from positive. The company exhibited significant issues with micromanagement, which created an unnecessarily restrictive work environment. Additionally, it was common for one individual to be responsible for multiple jobs, often four or more, leading to inefficiencies and burnout. The owner (Skip Mckee) and COO (Lyndon Pohl) displayed a troubling disregard for employee well-being and professional growth. Their treatment of staff was consistently poor, and there seemed to be a lack of genuine concern for operational challenges. Their expertise appeared to be limited primarily to marketing rather than a comprehensive understanding of the broader operational needs of the company. Overall, the work culture was hindered by these management practices, and the company's approach to employee relations and operational management was lacking. The company removes employee reviews to prevent potential issues from being visible to others. Approval is required for nearly every action, including basic activities such as taking a bathroom break. Additionally, after submitting a request for approval, Lyndon, the COO, often follows up with numerous questions regarding the rationale behind the request.
