      Pros

      • May be good for starting out if you have no experience in online teaching. • Paid me on time each month • Option to cancel or change appointments ahead of time

      Cons

      • Heavy penalties - every time you cancel a lesson, or miss a lesson, it is counted and displayed on your profile. • They deleted my account without notifying me beforehand! They did this because I had been inactive for a while. When I came back to resume working with them, my account had been deleted! • Pay is very low and only into PayPal • Some students can be rude and expect their teachers to be perfect.! • Another teacher that I knew to be an excellent teacher did an interview with Eigox and did not get the job, for no clear good reason.

      Pros

      choose own hours, lessons are short (25 mins), a lot of materials and ideas given, students are generally pretty good at English and have a lot to say in the lesson, can build a repertoire with students who will then take more of your lessons, friendly staff will reply promptly to emails, can average of about 5 lessons a day (my max is 8, but after 8 are booked, I shut down the rest of the available lessons).

      Cons

      no possibility to block creepy students or students who book too much, paid monthly.
