Pros
Just to start to work in a sales environment like an outbound call center (no quality, quantity is the magic word).
Cons
Read carefully if you are thinking to apply. - No HR departments. They are super kind with you (beautiful people) but they are afraid of him (like everyone there) so they will never be fair to you. They can say only 'talk to him'. - NO HOME OFFICE because he wants to see at your desk. No home office during the COVID-19 pandemic. No respect of covid rules. Your office will be two small rooms. - if you saw any good reviews here or other job portal, don't believe. They asked us to leave a good reviews because the company needs. Fake reviews written by themselves. - don't talk to your colleagues about your low salary, otherwise you will be kicked off. - no training, because there is no trainer. Your trainer will be your colleague but only for the first day. Then you jump in the fire since day 2. - 3 meetings per day to check you performance. - even if you have a contract with eKomi, he has other 4-5 companies. You will (and must) work also on them. - no respect for employees, you only must do what he says through your team lead. - micromanagement, he wants to see (trough your webcam and your sharing screen) what you are doing during every single day. - no transparency. - "big brother" control on employees aka no trust whatsoever and if you think it is not legal, you will be fired. Time-monitoring software. It takes a photo every 5 seconds. What is GDPR??? HR can't say anything about it. - You must do whatever he wants, even if some tasks are not your tasks (as per contract or job ad where they are hidden). - no People and Culture management, no team events. - no internal feedback is ever asked, his word is the law. - the product is based on the manual omission of bad reviews, which isn't reflecting the so-called "value proposition" this company sells to their B2B partners. To sell the product you have to make fun of people because there is no support team. - No bonus scale. Maybe you can ask it after one year based on good results. - high turnover, everyone there is looking for a job. Be patience and wait for another opportunity.
