Pros

Great Product Idea. Average Compensation Package. Great place to work with nicely trained Developers. Potential for business growth `

Cons

MicroManagement is the key. CEO micro-manages every thing. Even the executive management doesn't have authority to make decisions. No career growth for any one in the company. Its okay not to see it now, but the company outlook should appear to be supportive of the idea. Has one of the worst QA folks. They have no idea what and how to test and mostly focus on manual testing which in it self is not comprehensive. In-experienced dev team, with little to no focus on a top-notch product architecture. The senior architects in the company focus on how to get the job done in a short period of time instead of designing a long-term strategy. Off-shore office is a mess. Management only knows how to throw the funds and not how to build a team. CEO has a history of creating and selling companies, so future of Elastica was a no-brainer too. They have sold the company and now the management is likely to run in the next 6 to 8 months leaving a great talent behind and surely the offices will shutdown.

Pros

One of the rare companies with a working culture, everyone is on the same page and working to grow the product and company. A company that makes room for different approaches and champions the good ones. Location (Santana Row) is awesome, really the best (defacto) company cafeteria ever and an awesome place to be at when your day is over. The product is already strides ahead of it's competitors, has a large amount of interest and can still only get better.

Cons

It is a start up, so as another review mentioned the pace is pretty hectic sometimes. I don't view that as much of a negative, but may not be for everyone.
