Cons

The hours can be long, but that’s advertising.

Pros

The company has a bold creative vision. Leadership is sophisticated and deeply invested in championing new talent. There are genuine opportunities to work with top-tier brands and breakthrough directors. The attention to craft and execution is uncompromising, and the team culture is inspiring and rewards excellence.

Cons

It’s a fast-paced environment that may not suit everyone. Expectations are high, which means adaptability and initiative are essential. As the company evolves quickly, the structure can occasionally feel fluid and in flux.

Pros

No pros, benefits aren’t even good and they’re expensive

Cons

- CEO is manipulative and a compulsive liar, she lies about everything, don’t trust her experience - high turnover in employees, employee who’s been there the longest is barely on 1 year - exempt employees are expected to work 70 hours a week - you are discouraged from taking meal breaks - you are required to be in the office though the CEO and head of production work from home - you will be bullied into working through all your weekends - this company is anti Stand With Production, though they will pretend like they are pro unions - you will not receive any kind of training, and when you make a mistake because of this you will be reprimanded - you will be doing the work of 3 people and making pennies on the dollar for it - CEO will hire freelancers to do 1/5 of your job for x3 the day rate when you refuse to work on the weekends - no real HR department to support staff - Head of Production and CEO rarely align and blame you when they can’t agree on how to do something

Eleanor Films Response
10mo
We’re disappointed to read this review, especially given the highly personal and inappropriate tone. While we understand that Eleanor’s pace and standards aren’t the right fit for everyone, we categorically reject the character attacks and false claims made in this post. Eleanor is committed to fair treatment, transparency, and excellence. We have clear internal policies around work hours, breaks, compensation, and respectful communication. We do not condone dishonesty or manipulation—nor do we allow any behavior that jeopardizes the safety, wellbeing, or dignity of our team. We recognize that anonymous platforms can sometimes become outlets for frustration, but we ask that criticism be expressed constructively and accurately. We remain focused on supporting the incredible people who help us bring bold creative work to life. We wish this former employee well. —Team Eleanor
