Pros
- By far the most genuine people I've ever worked with. - Even before 2020, management was not afraid of tackling "uncomfortable" subjects related to social inequality and workplace diversity. Today, this has become mainstream but Elevate was ahead of the game on this. They may not always get it right, but when confronting real-world issues, mistakes and setbacks are a natural part of the journey. - Rare company that knows how to appreciate everyone's unique strengths. Unlike most corporate environments, you don't have to be an extrovert to be respected and acknowledged. At Elevate, they understand that a variety of personalities produce the best work and ideas. - I worked with both CEOs: I personally had good experiences and conversations with Razor and Lisa. I am excited to see where Lisa takes the company next.
Cons
Common complaints heard among coworkers: - Employees find themselves doing work that's outside of their traditional role and job description. For example, a graphic designer is somehow also a project manager and a creative director. - Unclear business model (partnerships vs. clients? vague sales contracts that lead to scope creep) - Work/life balance is highly dependant on your role.
