Supportive staff and management, but so much pressure to perform - OP Therapist Elizabeth Layton Center Employee Review

Pros

Good benefits, positive recognition for work well done (rather than punishment), real effort to support struggling employees, effort to be flexible, but the job is what it is.

Cons

Just a high-pressure, high-stress job that can never be done in 40 hours a week. This job was costing me my health, precious time I needed with my quickly growing-up family, and for not nearly enough pay. I felt passed up by younger, way less experienced co-workers, and there was a nasty whiff of sexism.

Pros

The pay is good compared to similar jobs in the area and there are some great people that work there.

Cons

This company hires unqualified, immediate relatives of HR staff and then does not hold them to the same standards as rest of the staff. Overall, that is the way of this place. Different standards for different people, if you are related to, or one of leaderships favorites, you won't have to complete documentation, see clients, or be a professional at all. Be aware that if you have any dealings with HR or any investigations pending, HR's daughter will be informed and will tell anyone that will listen. Leadership does not listen to their staff, nor do they care about doing the right thing. There is a push to see clients and bill, but there is no push to ensure that staff is trained and providing ACTUAL services to people.
