Postdoctoral Fellow at Emory University - Research Postdoctoral Fellow Emory University Employee Review

Pros

There are a lot of career development, grant writing, and networking resources available to postdocs. The university uses the NIH pay scale and they cover your insurance. If you are a long term employee (15+ yrs I think) your kids can go there for free/discounted tuition.

Cons

The insurance is less than stellar. You have to use Emory clinics to get the most out of your coverage and it is difficult to get appointments. Pretty much anything other than Emory is out of network.

Pros

Flexible hours, schedule, heavy case work
