Pros

ENWIN Utilities offers competitive pay and strong benefits, which are certainly above average for the region. The workplace itself is clean, modern, and well-equipped, providing a comfortable environment for day-to-day work. At the managerial level and below, employees are genuinely good, kind-hearted people who care about their work and their colleagues. There’s a strong sense of camaraderie among many teams, and when you’re working directly with these individuals, it can be a positive and supportive experience. While the company has structural and leadership challenges that impact overall culture, the people doing the work on the ground are dedicated and professional. ENWIN has a lot of potential thanks to the strength and character of its employees.

Cons

The biggest problem at ENWIN isn’t the work or the employees — it’s the leadership. The people at the managerial level and below are kind, hardworking, and genuinely want to make a difference. Unfortunately, they’re trapped in a toxic, fear-driven environment created by executives and directors who seem more interested in control and ego than in actually leading. The culture is built on micromanagement, rigid hierarchy, and an obsession with rules that make no sense. Policies and and a recent restructuring are poorly thought out, yet employees are punished for trying to question or improve them. There’s never any real recognition or positive feedback — only constant criticism and blame. Managers are stripped of any real authority to manage their teams because executives constantly interfere, creating chaos and confusion. Those same executives turn around and blame employees when things go wrong. It’s a toxic cycle that destroys morale and makes talented people want to leave. There are good people here — thoughtful, compassionate employees who care about their work — but they’re surviving despite leadership, not because of it. Until there’s accountability and a serious change at the top, ENWIN will continue to waste its potential and burn out the very people who keep it running.

Pros

My supervisors and all upper management I worked with were very nice and always willing to go above and beyond to help me learn and contribute whenever possible

Cons

I don’t have any cons for Enwin, although I wasn’t really exposed to the whole company
