Poor management, unclear expectations - Field Operations Coordinator Endeavor Telecom Employee Review

Pros

Competitive pay for any bachelor's degree with decent benefits. Same-level colleagues are good people and fun to work with.

Cons

Management has no idea what they're doing. Call goals and expectations seem to change daily, between volume, quality, and other measurable aspects. High employee turnover has resulted in ineffective and/or unguided training, which furthers the former. Expect even the smallest mistakes to become an issue with management.

Pros

Fast-growing company with opportunities for advancement for top performers. It's a smaller company so you'll "wear a lot of hats" but get a lot of great experience in operations management in the telecom/IT field services sector. Lots of great people who work at this organization at the staff level. This is a great place to work for entry level staff looking to start your career.

Cons

Historically very poor morale because many experienced staff members feel over-worked and underpaid. I can't speak for how the pay compares to other companies, but that is the perception of many current/former employees. Management and executives tend to never take accountability for issues and always blames subordinates for problems (but then they take credit for successes), so be prepared for a lot of internal finger pointing (even though that goes against the company's Service Rules). If you get to a position above entry level, be wary of backstabbing and getting scapegoated, and do not trust management because they do not care about individuals, only meeting their own career objectives and covering their own back sides.
