Pros
If you keep your head down and do your work nobody will bother you. In some locations the work environment can be nice. If you manage your time and commitments work life balance can be achieved.
Cons
Raises are pathetic and few. No interest in career growth from managers. I frequently went out of my way to seek guidance from my managers to grow my skills but never saw any support.
