It's NOTHING more than high pressure sales à l'américaine! There no excuses for not getting a SALE. You are being sent on a wild goose chase across Canada, on referals obtained by aggressive telemarketers who will do anything, promise anything, just to get a confirmation. Some prospective clients told me they said yes just to get rid of the caller. Others said they found it almost amuzing and just agreed out of curiosity, not fully believing such technics to get in the door still existed. Some clients plainly told me right off the bat that theyhad NO intentions to hire our services, and that even before I had a chance to introduce myself. These made up apponitments will create a wide range of costs. ESS will reimburse SOME of the expenses but, as an example, over my first 2 weeks not only I didn't make any money but I had lost nearly $1,000. They will trying to convince you that it is your fault you didn't succeed in convincing the client but when you show up to the plate with already 2 strikes, there is no room for errors and the pressure is all on you. The way they treat their analyst is pure BS and would not pass the scrutiny of most provinces's Labour Standards.
