Dear Former Employee, Thank you for sharing this as this review, which we wish to disagree with. It is typically not uncommon to have one room office in a startup, we have grown as a company and so has our office. Secondly, with the team size being small and full of talented individuals, a startup optimises its time and efficiency by removing hurdles like hierarchy and red tapism. Our leadership continues to learn and grow, to deliver greater value to all. There is no substitute for hardwork and undeniably there are some work days where we have to be a little flexible and to make up for these days we certainly put in great team lunch days and spot holidays as well. And in case you did not know, this is the only company in our industry which gives a one month paid vacation when an employee completes 2 years and gets married!! We work smart and play hard!

Pros

I have been working at the company for over 1.5 years now and my experience so far has been good. Good work and good team: The Company has an impressive client base and if you can prove your capability (irrespective of your years of experience) you get a chance to work on client projects which is a very rigorous and an enriching experience which you may not get in bigger companies at an early stage in your career. Strong emphasis on performance- The Company gives a lot of importance on performance and makes sure those who perform are rewarded generously. There are spot awards and other recognition given to encourage innovative ideas and thinking. You also get a chance and exposure to other functions if you are keen to learn so helps you get a diverse experience Freedom to think and implement- If you have an idea which is useful, the company gives you freedom to work on it and implement it and you’re also rewarded if you've done a good job Open communication Good place for self starters

Cons

The company is in a fast growth stage so there may be times when you have to work really hard. There is need for more structure

Dear Former Employee, We are happy that you learned team-work with us, also for writing a point wise detailed analysis where you felt we have lacked. We are providing you with a detailed list of our own to let you know our perspective. Our HR department would love to hear from you and take your feedback objectively. 1. We have a fixed office space at a permanent location in Mumbai. 2. We are aligned towards a single mission i.e. building stronger supply chains. 3. This post is put up by an experienced HR Head of a well organised HR Department. 4. We give our employees recognition for the work they do in terms of bonuses and dinner parties. 5. We do not force our employees to do anything, besides a friendly “pass me that dosa” in the lunch. 6. We have high ethical values, our clients testify for us. 7. We pay as per the industry standards 8. We are aware of the work that the company is doing and we are helping in building that vision. 9. We don’t hire employees for training them, we are a startup so we only hire people who are talented and know what they are doing. 10. I haven’t received a call late at night, it might have been a one time thing for you, we do expect our employees to be flexible but not to the point of breach of personal space. 11. We work 6 days a week. On Sundays, we even choose to hang out together to a club, but that choice isn’t forced on us. 12. Compensatory leave policy is there and we understand when somebody needs rest. 13. We are particular about time, so a scheme like this would have been implemented to inculcate the feeling of discipline but it is not in place anymore. 14. We are learning at a fast paced environment sometimes even we find it difficult to keep up. 15. There isn’t “Instant Transparency” but slowly everything becomes clear. ‘Instant Transparency’ is not a luxury in the business of Data Science especially when you are inexperienced to handle it and it is confidential Data of worth millions of dollars. 16. We have to wear multiple hats in a startup, and having a unique business model means a lot of scope for experimentation. We do have a common objective. 17. We have an open cafeteria in the office building. 18. We have mentioned about the training above. 19. We have a web presence, a blog, social media presence and everywhere we have written what we do. We can understand that you might have experienced something which probably happened because of the company being in transition but we have tried our best to see to it that the problems were sorted and we now provide an amazing cultural experience to anyone who is a part of our small Enterpriseforce community.
