Pros

Supportive leadership and flat team. I work in Massachusetts and the nurses need to create new care plans for members. The leadership provided us with a lot of support such as a draft tool to help us complete and showed appreciation, which goes far away in the nursing team. The company takes good care of us.

Cons

Indeed a lot of work

Pros

I love being able to work from home and manage my own schedule, and breaking up the day with travel to clients' homes is great! Getting to meet and help so many new people is very satisfying, and the pay is exceptional. The Ohio team truly feels like a team, everyone is always doing their best, trying their hardest, and willing to help however they can without judgement, practicing patience and compassion for each other. Also amazing is the company wide emphasis put on maintaining healthy work/life balance, so even salaried employees are only expected to put in 40 hours a week. And, we never get bored! The company is still growing so there is always something to accomplish. PTO & Sick leave are pretty good, I've never had a request off be denied, and we get pretty generously reimbursed for mileage!

Cons

Because the company is still developing its internal processes and procedures, there's alot of trial and error, things that just plain don't make sense and aren't user friendly, and frustrating redundancies right now as things get ironed out. So far there also seems to not be any incentives in place such as annual raises or performance bonuses. Also, on the flip side, because it is remote, it's hard to make work friends and the job can feel lonely with everyone spaced so far out. And sometimes you do have to work more than 40 to ensure clients' or compliance needs are met. And the insurance is too expensive and not great coverage for what you pay.

Pros

I have been with the company for over a year, and the opportunity has truly been a breath of fresh air. When I started, the concept of Structured Family Caregiving was still very new, and it has been rewarding to see how many families we have been able to support and serve over the past year. Leadership has been supportive, approachable, and willing to help when needed. The role offers a great balance of flexibility and independence while still providing the resources necessary to be successful. I enjoy working independently and appreciate the trust placed in care managers to manage their responsibilities without feeling micromanaged. One of the most meaningful parts of this role has been building relationships with caregivers and care recipients and seeing the positive impact these services have on families.

Cons

As the program continues to grow, processes and procedures occasionally evolve, requiring flexibility and adaptation. However, leadership has been receptive to feedback and supportive during periods of growth and change
