Pros
Salary with benefits - Although it's not competitive at all. Newer office - cubicle style , desk with dual monitors. Company Events - A bit excessive. Needs to be re-evaluated , leads to less productivity. Free food and beverages - Free breakfast at Company Meetings, free lunch during training. Casual Fridays- Allowed to wear jeans when you donate to a good cause. Incentives and Annual Placement Bonus- Eligibility is Conditional. Employees were automatically eligible for bonuses each year, up to 3 yrs. Management changed the bonus structure and was insensitive to the fact that many employees were 1-2 months away from eligibility for the bonus, before it was changed.
Cons
Micro managing - management should allow the employees to do their job with little to no distractions. Things are constantly changing every week - new policies, new hires, resignations, firings/layoffs, mandatory meetings, company outings, and miscellaneous interruptions - leading to low productivity. Stressful place to work- The atmosphere in the office is tense and unfriendly. No job security. You just never know what could happen here. Managers are not very approachable –Mangers tend to be very intimidating. There is an underlying us vs. them attitude throughout the office. Requirement to sign a non-compete agreement at hire. Very little is said about this at hire however it is very important to know about this agreement since you may not be able to work for any other employer who this company views as a competitor. Slow order management - Many Sales Managers assign and keep recruiters on the same job orders for several days, many times for an entire week. This usually causes Recruiters to be fatigued, demotivated, leading to low productivity. Very high turnover- stems from resignations, firings etc. It's the norm here and feels like a never ending cycle. It’s disappointing to see the average Recruiter here only lasts about 5 months – 1yr. Only 3 or 4 Recruiters out of about 22 or so have only been with the company for 2 yrs. Unpaid overtime, long hours (supposed to be 8a-5p). Only hires young people and mostly college grads. Lousy, inappropriate, and dirty jokes at meetings. Unexpected meetings, not very structured. Sales Managers are too selective and do not communicate well. Random policy changes- no consistency. Working with rude Sales Managers with big egos.
