Pros

- Ok packages - Diverse people, some colleagues are nice and helpful - Some snacks/coffee...but hey, you don't work for this right? - Some good furniture

Cons

- Too many management/senior staff from giant financial institutes, and bring along their old bad habits: -- As a startup but doing big corp style management, added unnecessary layers, introducing inefficiency and complexities. -- The management has no idea how much workforce is available and how to control paces, maybe mistaken this is as their former big corp. -- Throwing targets/goals out and simply waiting for results. Never care about the internal/external/engineering difficulties, typical old-school manager mindset. -- They purely do things they like without truly considering the company's benefits, the efforts needed & considering different aspects, thus decisions swing as the management changes, or the engineering team wastes effort on very low yield yet very time-consuming works for the management's like. -- Too many voices and power struggling. - As above, some teams are lacking real workforces, and the culture is a bit toxic to retain true talent. Retention roughly 4-6months, unless you're an expat tightened by visa. - How toxic it is? Some higher management gives a public speech like "I'm open to all ears, but if you don't have a solution for a problem, don't complaint" - Engineering team leads by non-technical background old-school PMs. Again they bring old & bad habits. Frankenstein sprints with waterfall ways, doing deployments less than monthly but thinking they're agile and delivery is the only goal they have regardless of quality. Incidents Increase from each deployment that's a norm and draw everyone into it for night & day. Eventually huge tech debts piled up to be paid. - As above, real engineers' voices are not well respected, and really bad in work-life balance. - No senior management with a tech engineering background so they simply don't understand how to lead a tech project with a scale like this. - Knowledge transfer and new hire ramp-up is rough probably due to the retention. - Just too many to say here, forgive me pls.

Great Office WorkSpace with diverse people
