Cliques rule. If you are part of the "in" crowd, regardless of whether you deliver results, you are golden. Hardly any good leaders below that Exec level in terms of valuing employees. Not a place where, if you are looking to grow into director or above, you will get a lot of sponsorship. Place is top heavy, so very few of these spots open and everyone is competing for these few spots. Common complaint from peers is that there is not a lot of appreciation and recognition by their direct managers or management in general for jobs well done.
