Pros
Weekends off. Relaxed environment. Good company for retirement. Core EPC work is mostly done in Canada and remaining bits and pieces work is dumped to Indian office. So work load is actually very less.
Cons
Age old policies still in place. Reluctant Indian management. They depends upon Canadian counterparts for most of the strategic decision. Mostly drafting, editing, rechecking work is done. No core EPC work done in India office. Indian staff is very narrow minded. And Canadian staff is always worried about their share of work. So they only dump editing and rechecking work to India. Canada office closes their day and India office start theirs. It actually creates a lag in their work. It creates a big communication gap between two offices. Leaving few people, most of Indian staff are horrible extremists.
