Pros

Cons
My experience at Ericsson was the most professionally damaging and mentally taxing of my entire career. I strongly advise any skilled professional to avoid this company The root of the problem is a complete and utter breakdown of professional leadership and basic human decency. Clinically Incompetent Product Ownership: The Product Owner was a nightmare. He was consistently unprepared, incapable of retaining information, and utterly forgetful. It was impossible to get clear, consistent requirements. He would argue and fight over points he himself had established days prior, creating a constant cycle of confusion, rework, and chaos. Working with him was like talking to a wall that also yelled at you. Mentally Unstable Management: My direct manager was no better. They exhibited clear signs of being emotionally and mentally unfit to lead anyone. Their behavior was erratic, unprofessional, and created a climate of fear and anxiety. They provided no support, no clear direction, and were a primary contributor to the toxic atmosphere. Deeply Unprofessional and Cliquey Team: The team itself was a closed, unprofessional group that seemed to thrive on dysfunction. Collaboration was non-existent unless you were part of their inner circle. They were resistant to any outside input or modern development practices. The overall lack of professionalism was staggering. Toxic "Sick" Culture: The entire environment felt sick. It wasn't just a bad workplace; it felt mentally corrosive. Forgetfulness, irrational arguments, and cliquey behavior were the norm. The EEA product itself suffered greatly due to this insane lack of competent leadership and a cohesive team.
