-Low pay -LOTS OF FAVORITISM -Tasks are dull and repetitive -Perfectly good books frequently "recycled' due to lack of space and/or management doesn't care enough to have them donated to institutions (i.e. school libraries, nursing homes) that would love to take them -No room for advancement -Dirty and poorly maintained building (broken sinks in faculty restrooms, stains everywhere) -Poorly secured (occasionally find homeless sleeping in stairwells) -Very loud (compared to suburban libraries)
