Pros

Some of the fellow teachers are nice and the students are amazing

Cons

Horrible pay along with incredibly high expectations to cover classes, join classes, never request any time of due to illness. Important to note, I’ve seen many male teachers flirting with and seeking out female students outside of work hours which is incredibly gross and predatory. When brought up to management, this was disregarded. Do your self a favor and avoid

Pros

Lovely people, international environment and it can be fun

Cons

Chaotic, toxic, they are constantly in financial trouble and don't pay. I would avoid working here if you can.

Pros

Lovely students and fellow teachers from an international background

Cons

The pay is disappointingly low, especially for a role based in central London. There is also a lack of consistency and transparency when it comes to invoicing and payment timelines. I was initially told that payment would be made within five working days of submitting my invoice. However, after following up, I was informed the actual timeline was ten days. Despite this, my most recent invoice took nearly three weeks to be paid — and only after I chased multiple times and provided a detailed breakdown of my hours. There seems to be little regard for the financial needs of staff who are working hard and relying on timely payments. The overall tone of communication was aloof and patronising, which made the experience even more frustrating. A more respectful and organised approach to staff payments would go a long way.
