Pros
*Before Matt Cook returned in 2023 and disrupted everything, there was a good interim CEO. This guy held company-wide meetings and addressed the workforce with gratitude and treated them like humans. Unfortunately, this interim CEO was replaced by the current fear-monger Cook.
Cons
*Company morale is in the toilet being flushed several times a week. *Little company direction, because the CEO is insane. *Most employees, with very few exceptions (because they're too new to know any better), want to leave. *The current CEO, Matt Cook, exhibits a shocking lack of morals and empathy. His dismissive and condescending attitude creates a toxic work environment. He frequently disappears for weeks or months, then re-emerges not to inspire, but to demoralize the team. Instead of spreading positivity, he unleashes crazy personal attacks through emails that go far beyond typical "out of touch" CEO behavior into outright abuse. Like the Wizard of Oz, he hides in his corner office, too cowardly to face the staff after his tirades. His leadership style can best be described as passive aggressive, megalomaniacal, and excessively domineering. This might be tolerable if he had any positive leadership qualities, but he does not. His only solution to problems (that he himself causes due to his jack-in-the-box style leadership) is to fire people. He has dismissed many loyal employees who helped build the company from the ground up, offering no severance or warning. Matt Cook's leadership is driven by an insatiable thirst for power and control, always seemingly at the expense of employee morale and well-being.
