Pros
-Lots of thought put into the craft beer list -various happy hour promotions throughout the week, e.g. 1/2 off all wines by the glass one day, buy a promoted beer of the week and get a free glass with the brewery's logo on it -Burgers are actually quite good & inventive
Cons
-Extremely corporate attitudes - no regard for their employees whatsoever. Very authoritarian style of management with only one concern - $$$$ Zero consideration is given to employee complaints or satisfaction. -Female employees are told to wear shirts saying "Whiskey makes me Frisky" on them, but are banned from saying certain language like beverages instead of drinks because it is considered unprofessional. Does that make any sense whatsoever? -Work the servers like slave drivers on busy nights - have a strange style of service that they vigilantly enforce that DOES NOT work, even after numerous complaints from waitstaff & restaurant guests. They do not have bussers or food runners, so servers are overworked and unable to give their guests the attention they need. -Very strict (stingy is a better word, quite frankly) bar protocol that defies any bar you have ever been to. Bartenders are required to use jiggers at all times (?) to ensure that no extra is given to anyone. Anybody who has ever been to a bar or worked behind one knows that in order to establish a repetoire with bar patrons, every once in a while you should give them a little something extra to be friendly & as a way to keep them coming back. Not here! Not possible & you will definitely get fired. -Very, very poor managers with no personal skills. They are basically payroll personnel who have been given the task of "managing" people. I have never in my life had such a poor experience with an employer. I worked here for almost a year, and in that time about 3/4 of the staff had quit due to the practices here and the blatant disrespect from management/owners. Hostile work environment comes to mind.... PS - I can almost guarantee that single 5 star review is from someone who owns stock in the company. Ha.
