Pros

- Compensation - Extremely competitive salary/commission plan - Benefits - 401K vested Day 1, reasonable insurance costs, unlimited PTO, - Culture - Embrace and celebrate diversity, encourage being a human first, work life balance is ingrained throughout, casual environment with a work hard, play hard feel about it

Cons

Onboarding was a little chaotic just because I didn't get access to a number of things on or before my start date. I think those are just hiccups though and will likely smooth out with future new hires. None of it was catastrophic by any means, or a reason that I would say is "con"

What a great charge you have given to management - "Don't touch the culture!" Noted. Be sure share in future Employee Engagement Surveys, because you've got some good ideas here.

Pros

Good work life balance. Allows remote work and provides unlimited PTO

Cons

Specific to EverHealth Career opportunities: First job where i noticed racism and bias stalling personal career development. Engineering org specifically has very little career growth opportunities. Once you are a senior developer, you will be given more work with zero recognition. Culture: Blame culture is at the forefront and people are extremely scared to make mistakes. Everyday a new process is implemented and everyone is supposed to just know how it works. Compensation: Pay is no where close to industry standards. A job switch gives a 30% pay jump without even trying to negotiate. Diversity: High groupism among leaders. Hiring is done based on past relationships as opposed to checking on their merit. Recognition is also given based on color of skin. Management: Every day you see a new level of incompetency when it comes to senior leaders. Everyone is looking after themselves and no one is focused on operating as a team except for a handful of managers.
