Pros
The pros were that you got to work from home in the pandemic, however it was a struggle getting there. Clearly they think that the running of their company is more valuable than their staffs health in the midst of a global pandemic. The only one good thing they did in the whole 2 years and 3 months was put me on furlough instead of sick leave when I rang my team leader expressing that I had suicidal thoughts due to not being able to see my family in a pandemic. (But be careful, because when you leave they will throw anything nice they’ve done straight back in your face) If you want a team leader that will put thoughts in your head about your significant other, or who will openly be rude about another member of staff referring them to a “witch” then Evo is definitely the place for you. If you want a team leader that has absolutely no idea about her job then you’ll slot right along Product Integrity. If you can’t be friends with the team leader and her bestie, then you might as well not work on PI. If you like to pick up the slack for other team members regularly, then join Evo where you’ll be picking up the slack starting day 1.
Cons
The lack of communication through the product data team is ridiculous. If you want to be set a task for the day to find out the day after it has been completely changed, then go for an interview at this place. Or even better, if you want to feel belittled and bullied by the management, then you definitely want to be on the product data team where you will be made to feel like you’re an alien compared to the others on that team. And if you want to raise a concern of yours, well, you need to be able to deal with the consequences, Evo do not like to sort out conflict and would rather put you on garden leave until you leave the company. There’s absolutely no point in putting any sort of complaint in as the management are all up each other’s bums so would alienate you. JUST DO NOT WORK HERE! Almost 3 years in a company and it come down to them making me think that I was the problem, that I chose to suffer with my mental health in a GLOBAL PANDEMIC and made out that I did not do anything to try to fix it.
