Pros
Some of the newer managers do care about and support their team. In spite of that, they are not being real with us and are maintaining that there's a potential to reach the insanely high sales goals.
Cons
- The product is better as a concept than as executed, there are significant limitations. As a sales person, I've never sold or experienced a product that prospects are less interested in. No one on my team is even close to meeting quota. - The pricing is high given the target verticals and leadership won't budge on it. - Middle management is completely checked out and spends 1x1s and team meetings focused on all of the wrong things. I haven't been asked how I'm doing in... ever? - They opened a (probably ridiculously priced) office in downtown Nashville then immediately laid off multiple people that had joined the team within 90 days. There are other examples of impulsive behavior and mismanagement of funds, but you get the idea. - The expectations that were set around comp and day-today responsibilities during the interview process were completely false. - Don't listen to the reviews about these issues being related to "start-up" culture. What's going on here is not normal.
