Pros
Some good people were working at Ezoic, most of them have been laid off so left with the chumps who stuck around. Free food/beer in the office, overly flexible WFH and 'unlimited' leave benefits
Cons
Really sad to see what has happened over the last 1.5 years at Ezoic. When I was brought in before Summer 2022, we had a massive hiring boost, morale was high, and things were looking up. Then, just before Christmas Ezoic laid off a ridiculous number of the workforce, most people were left jobless until at least January even February 2023. Huge push for profitability/revenue across all teams and CEO was hyper-fixated on AI integration in all spaces in company instead of sorting out management structure. Bad week in July led to another massive layoff (around 40% I think?) Company went from around 350+ when I started, now floating around/under 200 employees. Got laid off whilst I was on holiday with no warning, no chance to say goodbye to my colleagues and no phone call/text from management or anyone on my team. Hard work doesn't pay off here!
