Positive Working Environment (Corporate only). HR Manager & the CEO are great leaders. Satisfying employee benefits.
Cons
Veey limited independence to make decision. Retail Officers are very toxic. They think of themselves to be superior to HR. They want HR to work for them instead of listening to HR advices for compliance sake. (Not all but some). Salary is not as competitive as what the market offers. Very limited exposure to HR practices. The job focuses more towards Payroll and the other functions of HR are not given the priority to HR, instead the ROs will handle them. They use a highly labour-oriented, outdated, manual payroll practice which does not help so much for future career advancement. Job is suitable for a fresh graduate to get intial exposure, however not worth staying for more than a year.
