Pros
- Decent brand - Convenient office location - Technical people to learn from
Cons
- 'Research-Led' but it's very hard to get research time. Most of it comes out of overseas dedicated research team. Expect to be constantly pushed into projects with little downtime. - Most consultant just get stuck doing boring jobs that are easier to sell. - Progression is slow. Once you move up from associate it's very hard to become senior. Goals are always changing, and you're expected to constantly take on more responsibility, usually with little or no raise. - There is a good amount of politics and it's hard to know who to trust. Those who can get to the inner circles with the management typically fare better. - Alcohol and gambling (with chips) in office after hours. This is the culture here if you wish to mingle. - Directors seem to operate in their own little kingdom in Singapore. Anyone that presents a sub-optimal image to global are quickly and harshly dealt with.
