Red flags ahead. Originally the company wasn’t that bad to work for. A typical, casual work environment. However, as time went on they started getting a little too large for their shoes and brought in a new President who did not share their “fun family business” approach. We were all seen through her rose-colored glasses as "lesser than" because of where we are from, and deemed instantly replaceable by outsourcing our work and jobs to her personal friends and acquaintances.
FACE Amusement is not the happy and fun workplace they pretend to be. It’s as fake as the facades on their arcades - crumbling from within but coated with layers of pretty colored paints. They want “yes people”, and those showing any kind of non-conformity (including political and religious ideology) or speaking up against things like lax standards or unethical business practices are silenced and demanded to be obedient.
This is not a safe place to be different. This is not a safe space to voice frustrations or concerns. Conflicts of interest run rampant from within the executive group and those conflicts are used to target employees.
They throw around the word "culture" a lot but they don't really understand what that means - it's just a buzzword to them. It's an empty word, for an empty company.
