Pros
There are a few positive aspects to working at FLUENT, like the coworkers, the patients, and the "laid backness" of the company. The retail staff is great and are wonderful to work with. It's really the main positive about the company and not much else.
Cons
The company is basically standing on stilts. There is no way to track anything other than sales through the company, no training at all from production all the way through retail, policies and rules change every day without notice, outdated marketing material if we were ever given any, any question asked is given a "wait till I get back to you" answer with no follow up. Communication is non-existent, retail cannot get ahold of corporate at all, it would be more effective to talk through a Dixi cup and string than to wait on an email. There also seems to be cliquey groups throughout the company, corporate treats retail like they don't exist and puts insane sales expectations without any support from management. All issues stem from management at the end of the day, crazy sales expectations, no communication on any changes or emergencies they somehow expect you to read their mind, and a complete lack of reality when it comes to dealing with any operational issues. The rude and combative behavior from senior management is the worst of all. Senior management believes it is okay to speak to employees however they feel and punish those who try to improve the company. It has made many great workers quit and creates a large and clear divide between management and subordinates.
