Pros
Interesting work. Decent compensation. Some good colleagues (especially in field operations) - if you can avoid the backbiters and shameless self-promoters (which is most of the company at Norwood ).
Cons
1. Lifer mentality prevails, which is propagated by nepotism (not only tolerated, but encouraged) and a pension. Many unhappy people work there, but hang-in for the pension (also hands are tied due to non-compete agreements). 2. Most colleagues (at least in Norwood) are untrustworthy and uncooperative at best, with many routinely undercutting others, and taking credit for the work of others. 3. Many are expert at office politics and using email as a weapon against other colleagues. 4. Managers are uninterested in what their underlings do, and have little understanding of what constitutes good quality work from poor quality work.
