- Collegial working environment, people care for each other and are genuinely interested how one is doing - Fantastic access to global network of investment professionals - Low-pressure environment in which one can define how much large the extra mile can be
Cons
- Very bureaucratic given the high compliance standards coming with a banking license - Lack of efficiency for internal processes (also lack of usage of technology) - People in various 'back-office' roles lack ownerhsip/'do-it' mentality leading to frustration for investment staff - "easy" place leads to complacency reducing career chances
